What is Teen Rehab?

In response to the current teen drug crisis as it spreads nationwide, teenage drinking, and an alarmingly rampant ascent of teen mental health disorders that facilitate teen substance abuse, TeenRehab.org was founded in 2011 in order to help teens dealing with teen drug abuse and teen substance abuse, as an endeavor of:

The objective is to connect families to these teen treatment centers that save lives while offering a deeper understanding of addiction and how teen rehab and comprehensive care can help.

TeenRehab.org exists to provide information and support geared towards raising awareness of teen drug abuse, substance abuse and alcohol addiction.

Who We Help

At TeenRehab.org, we assist families that have been impacted by teen drug abuse, teen drinking, and teen drug addiction. We understand that often online sources can be unreliable. We aim to become a trusted resource for you and your family in a time of need.

You cannot decide upon the right rehab for teens before properly understanding teen drug abuse or teenage drinking addiction. However, it is not an easy task. Indeed, we understand how jarring it can be to look for drug rehab centers for your child. As a result, our easily navigated web resource aims to help parents find their bearing in the stormy seas of teen drug abuse.

The Need for Teen Treatment Centers

Whether your child is just experimenting with teen drug use or is suffering from teen drug addiction, we want to help. After all, more teens are overdosing from both prescription drugs and illegal drugs than ever before. It does not matter whether your child has only tried a drug once. Although the percentages are difficult to accurately record, we estimate that nearly 1/3rd of teen overdose deaths are by first-time drug users.

We help parents from day 1 of their search for an effective solution. Whether or not you believe teenage rehab is imperative for your teen and you are looking for a teen treatment center, we want to provide you with the information and support that will be the key to your choice and ultimately lead towards your teen’s successful recovery. We hope that through education we can help prevent a teen drug problem before it occurs. After all, prevention of teen drug use is better than rehab for teens.

What’s important to realize, however, is that TeenRehab.org does not replace the skills and knowledge of trained professionals. While we aim to help in your navigation of a difficult situation, and our trained professionals at our hotline are skilled in referring appropriate paths towards recovery, we also recommend that you also consult your primary care physician or another medical professional about any drug, alcohol or behavioral addiction issues you, a family member, or friend may be experiencing. Moreover, therapists, psychologists, and other recovery professionals can help as well. Still, if you feel that you, your teen, or anyone you know is in imminent danger with a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately.
