Your daughter is growing fast. I’m sure it only seems like yesterday that she was just a little girl. As a mother, it’s important to find new activities that the two of you can do together to continue to bond. Here are a few suggestions, but remember to keep her interests and personality in mind and don’t forget to ask her what she wants. Most of all, don’t forget to have fun!

Finding ways to bond with your daughter is important in building a healthy, open and lasting relationship with her. Here a few activities the two of you can do together.

  • 1. Have a Spa Day

You two will have the opportunity to relax, catch up and pamper yourselves.

    As a mother, you have a lot of wisdom you can pass along to your daughter. Try teaching her a fun skill that she’s been dying to learn. Do you cook a dish that she loves? Are you an expert sewer? One way that you can help her explore and cultivate these is by volunteering with her. Is there something she’s really interested in exploring? See if there’s a local opportunity to get involved in some way. This will show that you support her interests while also giving you  positive feelings from helping others.
